Before a couple of weeks the beautiful Hadnet Tesfai and me had the chance to meet Kendrick Lamar during his Berlin visit over at Universal. He just released his new album Good Kid and was here for some press meetings. The groupies we both are – we grabbed the chance and interviewed him for the good people over at Highsnobiety and Fritz Radio. It was nice to hang out with him for more than half an hour and even though he is really kicking off right now he has a very down to earth attitude. It was cool to see that he doesn’ t need all this HipHop Bling Bitchy show to make it out there. I’m looking forward to see Kendrick live again in February, when he comes to Berlin for the official GoodKid tour. |
