Haw-Lin was always a big mystery for me. Since I first stumbled over their site I was questioning myself things like what and who is this. I just knew I loved the curation and the style of the posted pictures. They somehow touched me and I think they got one of the main influences for my view on fashion, photography and design in the last years.
So it was always a dream to meet whoever stands behind it (it was a THE big question cause you couldn´t find anything in former times) and portrait them in the best case. Now the “dream” became true and we not only had the chance to meet and shoot them but getting really close during the days we hung out together.
For Nico´s and my side the whole project was one of the biggest projects we did so far. Shooting more than 3 days with more than 10 hours material with a lot of experiments on the filming side, a deep thinking and feeling post production process and the biggest self pressure ever. But now we are live and we are proud to show our version of the Jacob Klein and Nathan Cowen aka Haw-Lin.
